Es erzählt intensiv in atmosphärischer Dichte von der Auseinandersetzung des Komponisten mit der abstrakten Malerei Gerhard Richters.“

Abput Mitte-Schnitte for sextet
The composition was written between 2017 and 2020.The title is ambiguous and refers to twelve episodes that immediately merge into each other, separated only by short cuts. The individual fragments of the movement resemble short  film clips that transform in, sometimes abrupt, contrasts. Here,  the different groupings of the ensemble alternate with soloistic sections. The composition concludes in a calm mood, with the musicians  speaking and singing into their instruments the poem "Ehemals und jetzt"  by the German poet Friedrich Hölderlin (1770-1843).

The piece was created in spring 2014 and is dedicated to a Persian artist. Besides the allusion to the parlor game Monopoly hidden in the title, the core of the composition refers to the constant change between monophony and polyphony.

"Polymonolie II - Air on Air" for accordion solo (The different ways of describing exhaustion) describes various states of exhaustion. Here, for example, the different possibilities of instrumental exhalation, breathing pauses, air games and gradually dissolving sound columns are used.
